Muscle Up
Muscle Up was an online fitness program that trained our viewers on how to keep their physical health and have a good outlook throughout the lockdown. The courses were conducted by our very own NIBM undergraduates who were also qualified in the project’s specific areas.
Priyan Pramuditha holds an advanced diploma in Sports Science and Exercise Science and is a fitness coach. Vishwa Ranaraja is a former player in both the National and CR & FC rugby teams
Applicants Training Program
Applicants Training Programme was organized to get the knowledge and the experience of the Rotaract movement. Also, to develop the leadership skills, build better team players and promote better
decision making, educate the elects about their duties and responsibilities,
increase members’ morale and retention, promote clear communication and fellowship within the club members and create awareness about ‘what Rotaractors do’ within the institute.
Even though the initial plan was to complete the programme with six (06) sub-projects, due to the prevailing
situation and traveling restrictions, the organizing committee had to reduce it down to three (03) subprojects,
every session being virtual.
Club Orientation: – held on 5th of March, 18th, and 19th of May with applicants’ participation and the new members focusing on the introduction to Rotaract.
Elevate Elects: – held on 20th of April and 26th of May with the participation of the current board of directors and the applicants focusing on the introduction to club administration and project management.
Life in Rotary: – held on 3rd of June with the participation of Rotarians from the sponsoring Rotary Club.












Heroes
HEROES was initiated by the Rotaract Club of NIBM together with EdScale Up to bring out outstanding women representatives in the industry into the limelight to empower the next generation of leaders, mentors, and successors to reach leadership positions in the industry. The panel discussions were focused on the following key areas:
Gender Equality
How women lead the industries in Sri Lanka
How women thrive their potential in Industries
Importance of women in Industry in Sri Lankan Context
These areas included the participation of women in varied fields such as business activities, facilitation, services, support in economic development, etc. The organizing committee was able to highlight the significance of women in Sri Lanka vividly as the strength of women is a superpower that can contribute to creating a change in the nation.
There were altogether eight (08) panel discussions conducted, under different industrial sectors such as Human Resources & Administration, Marketing & Strategy, Legal, Finance, Information Technology & Innovation, Media & Journalism, Logistics and General.
Each session was conducted for more than 1 and half hours with 25 industry expert speakers from top companies sharing their experiences and expertise in the industry.
